What are you going to do now that you're probably stuck at home because of the largest snow event in 25 years? The "Boys in Pink" would like to share some suggestions with everyone. First, they say that to keep up your strength you should think about some chocolate.... coco, some Hershey's .... Secondly, remember to stay warm. A flight south is always a good idea... And thirdly, take some time with your violets and gesneriads!!! What a wonderful day to catch up on the grooming and watering. Maybe change those liners to the reservoirs, wash the capillary matting and check everything over for any signs of insects or powdery mildew!!!

The Boys of Summer are simply aghast at what they found this morning in their pool.... Is this a joke???? Is this some sort of twisted April Fool's shenanigan? Or is it really all a spoof featuring a photo taken in January????
Our frozen flamingos are back and even colder than before! They're going to play in the snow for a while longer till they're ready to come inside and tend to their violets. They made some good resolutions to take better care of their plants in the new year though. They are going to remember to water them regularly, feed them a balanced source of nutrients, keep them clean and groomed and they promise not to snack on the tender middle rows of leaves. Even though the flamingos find them extra tasty, they're going to save them for the spring show so that everyone will get to enjoy their pretty violets! They (Ferdinand, Felicia, Florance, Fabian and Floyd) are hoping that you'll have some entries for the show too! Start planning which ones you'll be bringing now!
