FALL SHOW!

The North Star African Violet Council happily invites you to their AVSA Fall Show at Bachman's Garden Center 6010 Lyndale Ave. MPLS, MN. Saturday Oct. 1, 10:00 AM to 4 PM, and October 2, Noon to 4 PM.

Flowers, Fun and Friends!

There will be lots of sale plants and lovely violets to see!

Show at Bachman's Tomorrow and Sunday!

It's Show Time again! The North Star African Violet Council is having their fall show at Bachman's Garden Center on Lyndale in the Heritage Room!
That's in Minneapolis on 60th and Lyndale Ave.

Loooookie loo at the pretty plants!

 We've got lots of pretty violets to see and for sale.

Come on down and visit. The store is also having their Gathering of Friends Antique sale too. Something for everyone!

 A couple of pretty plants here. This is a chimera and edged. Wow.

 I must have liked chimeras today. But another pinwheel with an edge. Nice flower for a cold and windy day.

The winner's table with the best plants, designs and gesneriads from the show.

Upcoming Shows!

Just a little bloom to help you THINK SPRING!

There are two upcoming shows in the Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota area in about a month!

The AVSM show April 11-12, 2014 at the Har Mar Mall. Look for us at a new location down toward Staples!

The Twin Cities Gesneriad Society show is also coming up on April 26-27, 2014 at the Bachman's on Lyndale in the Heritage room. 

Plants, plants, plants..... Join us at both shows and then prepare yourselves for the National Orchid Society show which will be hosted in the Twin Cities this year the weekend after the Gesneriad show! It's a great spring for plant lovers!

Fall Show

The North Star African Violet Council is having their annual fall show and plant sale at Bachman's on Lyndale, Minneapolis, MN on Saturday October 5, and Sunday October 6, 2013.

Hours are Saturday 9 to 5 and Sunday 11 to 4 pm.

Come and get out of the rain! Violet fun for everyone!

Fall SHOW and sale at Bachman's on Lyndale, MPLS today from 9:00am  to 5:00 pm and Sunday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Come on down and see the really great looking violets and Gesneriads and check out the sale table! Lot's to choose from, especially the semi-minis and minis!

It's time again for the African violet societies to have their fall Show and Sale at both Northtown Mall on October 21-22, 2011 and Bachman's Heritage Room October 22-23, 2011 on Lyndale in Minneapolis!


Come and see African violets and other Gesneriads in bloom and looking stunning!

Bachman's Heritage Room is at the main Bachman's store location at 6010 Lyndale Avenue, Minneapolis, Minnesota!

We always have knowledgeable folks with growing advice and answers to all those violet questions you might have!

Semi-minniature violets for sale - for those of you will limited space! Come by and say "hi"!

October Show

A beautiful fall show was held at Bachman's on Lyndale. The winning entries were spectacular.

 Rows of violets lined the tables.

A couple of memorable plants entered were this Streptocarpus "Silvia".

There are too many lovely plants to show them all but here's one that will impress!

Many beautiful plants were exhibited by club members. New members are always welcome to stop by, join the club or come to a meeting to see what they're all about!

The Fall Display at Bachman's on Lyndale is coming right up. Saturday the 27th and Sunday the 28th of October 2007!!!

Bring plants to display, arrangements and dish gardens, terrariums and natural gardens.... bring them all so that we have a great show for the public!!!
